Offered for bid is a beautiful fuel injected 308 GTBi 1980. It has 22,127 miles which records support are authentic. I am not the original owner. Although it has been driven very few miles it has been well maintained. Camshaft belts and idlers were replaced within the last month. It has new polyurethane suspension and AR bushings and new Koni shocks and bushings. The steering rack delrin bushings have been upgraded to bronze. Brake pads are fresh - original rotors with min wear and normal runout. Calipers are recently rebuilt with new seals and brake fluid has been flushed. Ball joint dust seals replaced and have no measurable wear. ALL coolant lines including beneath plenum replaced - new thermostat - thermoswitch - recent water pump. Fuel tank crossover sleeves and all high pressure plastic fuel injection lines are new. Brake vacum line through frame replaced. Alternator bearings and brushes replaced - new Bosch battery. Clutch is original and does not exhibit any slip. Gear box shifter seals are new and do not leak but there is an occasional drop of oil from the sump cover. Fuel injection has been gone over completely and new set of injectors installed. All system pressures are within spec. New K&N air filter. Plugs and Cavis wire set new. Valve lash is per spec. I can find no evidence of prior damage, rust or body/frame repairs per my inspection. Paint is a respray but shows well. Wheels are original without any curb marks. Tires are correct Michelin TRX, 85% front, 66% rear remains. Spare has never been on pavement. Tires are older and show well but should be replaced for spirited driving. Windows run briskly with relays. The interior seats have no visible wear and the dash is perfect. All leather in the interior is in good condition and well maintained. The jack, spares, tools, manual, window crank are correct. The engine starts easily and idles smoothly from cold to warm. The exhaust is clean. Acceleration is brisk and it runs straight at highway + speeds without vibration. Recent alignment. All emissions equipment is functional with new correct air injection reactor pump and check valves. Passes strict Arizona emissions. Air conditioner runs cold with recent charge. All lighting interior and exterior is functional. It needs nothing that I can think of but to be driven. There are 2 items that are not original to the US version. The front bumper is euro spec and the steering wheel is Momo as used on the quadravalve - more comfortable in the hand and easier to turn at low speeds. I really do not want to part with this car as I have maintained it well and it is one of my favorites but I have not driven it much and it's space in the garage is needed for another Ferrari. If you have specific questions about the car I will try to answer realistically. This summary is as truthful as possible but I cannot of course warrant against unknown defects or future service requirements. It is for sale as it stands.
